While the height of sensuality is arguable associated with the lips and mouth - as suggested by the preference for the decadence of certain food and drink - one couldn't say that decadence couldn't be found in something that could only be sensed by other faculties, and could hardly be tasted. Decadent fashion - because fashion could indeed be decadent - is one such example of things that give us innate sensual pleasure. Things such as clothing do, after all, come into contact with our skin, and skin (given the proper stimulation) is very much open to the experience of utter decadence.
Of course, when one says "fashion" the first thing that comes to mind would have to be clothing. For clothing to be decadent, only two things must be taken into account: the design and the material. The haute couture designs as well as the avant-garde cuts and stitches are, of course, exceptional signs of decadence. They are pleasant and interesting to look at, and thus wearing them would in fact make us feel beautiful. Couple this with materials that are undoubtedly decadent - silk, lace, satin, or velvet to name a few - and one can say that a particular item of clothing has the power to make anyone feel sexy. After all, who is prepared to say that the feel of exotic and expensive cloth wrapped around one's self isn't sinfully decadent?
DenofSin.Com would also like to point out that fashion isn't limited to clothing: perfume and accessories are also included in the list of decadent fashion. Expensive and aromatic perfumes, like clothing, has the power to inspire sensual confidence in a person. Decadent accessories - jewelry studded with precious stones, exquisitely-crafted gold watches - fall under this category as well. These things transcend the mind and toe the line between practicality and sensuality.
